Politicians in Handcuffs

This is a collection of the essays I’ve written over the past year. I have strong opinions and the view of the common man (that’s the view of a man who has a steady job and pays taxes). My advantage or disadvantage depending on your point of view is I can read and I understand how things should work.

The title is just a persistent fantasy that runs through my head. The image of Politicians in handcuffs is just my sense of justice. Read the news on a regular basis my you will see my fantasy come true on an all too frequent basis.

I know how the economy works and I know how business works. I can see how government gets in the way and I know how the Free Market is supposed to work. Words mean things and politicians use words to move the opinions of people in directions that the politicians want, not how their opinions would be if voters had facts without the politician’s glitter and smoke obscuring the facts.

I know what the Founding Fathers had in mind when they created our system of government. I know that because I can read and I do read. Less is more, especially when we’re talking about government.

Government should provide some structure and some guidelines to maintain a level playing field for the economy. That does not mean the government should control as much as they do.

About gino984

A well fed middle aged male with strong opinions and a sense of humor. I was a Commissioned Officer in the United States Army Military Police Corps. I also spent some years in manufacturing management in both union and non union environments. I know how to lead and how to supervise. I also know how to share what I know. My degree is in Criminal Justice so that means I have a background in Psychology and Sociology. When you couple my Law Enforcement and Security training and experience with my education and experience in management and leadership you get a unique view on Supervision and Leadership.
